When it comes to buying designer bags, my clients usually fall into 2 categories: the ones who want a well-known brand and the ones who are bored of mainstream designers and want something a bit more special.
In today’s post, I’ll show you some of my favorite bag brands that combine beautiful craftsmanship with super cool designs. And the best part is that they won’t cost you as much as the big boys on the designer bag scene.
I’ve pulled together a variety of different styles – from avant-garde to girlie and boho. Each brand has a lot more to choose from but I tried to show you each brand’s DNA and individual flavor.
WHERE TO BUY
Most of these brands are available across multi-brand platforms like Farfetch, Net-a-porter and MyTheresa, as well as on their own websites.
Here is a little shopping trick: simply Google the name of the brand and you’ll see all possible stockists. Browse through them to find the style you fall in love with and you might come across special promotions and seasonal discounts. Most multi-brand department stores run sale events and you can get your hands on your favorite bag at a reduced price (while it’s still selling at full price on the brand’s website or on other websites).
On the other hand, if nothing is jumping out at you on the multi-brand platforms, always check out the brand’s official site as they will have the full selection of styles that department stores might not stock.
